Artist's Statement
Between the extremes of realism and pure abstraction, lie innumerable entities in a vast field of intermediate, forms. As I work, these multifarious forms evolve in the mind's eye in varying shapes, proportions and colors. It is these "inner visions" that appear on the surface as the center of my "Creation" paintings and radiate outward to expand their influence universally.
For me, a successful painting must embody a sense of mystery, conflict, harmony and balance.
Finally, there can be neither resolution nor explanation to distort the perception of the viewer.
All of my work is emotionally driven and intuitive. What I strive to do is capture the essence of the event of the creation of the universe.
